n exciting draft of mares head to the Goffs November Breeding stock sale, consigned by our Irish stud; Kiltinan Castle. The five mares, catalogued as lot 1252 through 1256, all sell on Friday 19th November and can be viewed in Barn P from Wednesday 17th at lunch time onwards.
The first lot selling is a striking unraced mare named APURA. By Oasis Dream, she is a half-sister to G2 performer Three Bodies. Apura has produced three foals so far, one of racing age (Cannacore, 2019) who has already been placed twice. Apura is being sold in foal to Bobby’s Kitten, due in March 2022.
Also offered at the sale is an attractive daughter of G1 Fillies’ Mile heroine White Moonstone, DUFAY (Dubawi). This eight-year-old mare is a winner herself and boasts a progressive family. Her first foal, Last Sunset has now been placed at G3 level (3rd UAE Oaks) and her yearling colt by Invincible Spirit sold at this year’s Tattersalls Book 2 sale for 150,000gns to White Birch Farm and Demi O’Byrne. She is being sold not in foal and will prove be an exciting addition to any broodmare band.
The last lot heading through the ring next Friday is the quality three-year-old filly out of training MESOPHERIC. She hails from a regal French family, which descends from two champion two-year-old fillies in France, Coup de Genie and Denebola. Mesopheric is by Le Havre, out of the winning Montjeu mare; Astroglia.
