Mares sold at Tattersalls and Goffs

KILTINAN Castle Stud have sold a number of mares at Tattersalls and Goffs over the last couple of weeks.

At Tattersalls, Empress Cixi (lot 1794) was sold to John Foote Bloodstock for 150,000gns.

The unraced daughter of Shamardal is a half-sister to Group 2 Ocovango from the family of champion two-year-old Crystal Music. She is in foal to dual-Group 1 winner Maxios.

Dutch Romance (1798), a daughter of Dutch Art, was knocked down to Belmont Bloodstock Agency for 85,000gns.

The Listed-placed filly is a half-sister to 2000 Guineas hope Dutch Romance.

Dual winner Bright Glow (1862) was sold to agent Oliver St Lawrence and Matthew Camacho for 62,000gns. The daughter of Exceed And Excel is in foal to Acclamation.

At Goffs Kiltinan Castle Stud sold five mares including Mysteriousness (1187). A dual winner in France by Beat Hollow, Mysteriousness is in foal to Declaration Of War. She was purchased by BBA Ireland for €60,000.

New Approach filly Passionable (1191) was sold to Glebe Stables for €52,000. Her dam Raisonnable was a Listed winner and she is related to numerous Stakes performers.
