All at Kiltinan Castle Stud were delighted to welcome a filly foal out of So Mi Dar on Tuesday, February 5.

The filly is by champion sire Galileo and is reported, along with her mother, to be doing well.

So Mi Dar is a six-year-old daughter of Dubawi and multiple Group 1 winner Dar Re Mi. She is a full sister to champion two-year-old and 2000 Guineas favourite, Too Darn Hot.

So Mi Dar herself achieved plenty on the racecourse – winning the Group 3 Musidora Stakes and finishing third in the Group 1 Prix de l’Opera.

Simon Marsh, general manager of Watership Down and Kiltinan Castle Stud, said: “So Mi Dar foaled a filly by Galileo on Tuesday. Both So Mi Dar and her foal are doing well.”
